Logs of wood from wood

A log log hinge from wood is a log of walls, consisting of lacked logs. Any row of similar horizontally logs is called a crown. The lower salary of the crown in the log house, on which all further crowns are laid.

A rectangularly folded log house, which consists of four walls, is called a four -stand, and a similar log house, but with one partition inside, is called five -walled. In the first case, logs are binded in the corners, and in the second version (five-wall) there are still combining T-shaped external walls from the inside.

The device of chopped walls includes horizontally located logs of coniferous trees, as well as deciduous ones, which are usually harvested in winter. It is best that they would be felled, because it is in the composition of such wood that there is little water, which is why it is easier to process, it lends itself less to drying and is less likely to be rotted.

The best of the breeds of coniferous trees for the house of wood are pine blanks, they differ from the spruce in that they are most durable and there are fewer resinous substances in them.

In a log house, the most difficult are the outer corner dressings. They come with the remainder if they get out of the corner of the log, but they can be without any rest. The bandage method with at least some residue provides for the fact that the end of the log has a maximum predisposition of decay due to humidity penetration, and the “residue” protects the walls, taking on the whole process of destruction. But to this day, this superiority does not play a special role, because current technologies allow protecting wood from decay.

With a multi -row tie method, less labor is spent than with a single -row method. With this method, much less brick of an incomplete type is required, which significantly saves time to chop off a fourth.
